The producers of the movie 'Christian Brothers' is planning to release the big movie by the 18th of October. One of the biggest multi starers of all time, the movie will feature Mohanlal, Suresh Gopi, Dileep and Sarath Kumar in key roles. The movie is continuing with its final schedule of shoot at Kochy. The story of the movie revolves around a retired and well-to-do army officer, Palomattathu Varghese Mappila and his family. Mohanlal plays Christy who is an informer, working in Mumbai and getting high amount as remuneration while Dileep play his brother Joji who goes abroad to study theology. Kaniha and Lakshmi Gopalaswamy play their sisters. The storyline by Sibi K Thomas and Udaya Krishnan goes through many interesting twists and turns, as usual with the other films of veteran Joshy. Produced by A V Anoop and Maha Subair, the movies also feature Kavya Madhavan, Manoj K Jayan, Lakshmi Rai and Biju Menon.
Once again it's now proven that our Universal star Mohanlal is the most salable hero in the Malayalam film industry. Mohanlal's upcoming movie Christian Brothers has now been sold for a record price of Rs. 3 crores as it's television rights for Asianet. Previous best was the multi starrer, Twenty 20 for around Rs. 2.86 crores.
Some other films, from another popular hero in Malayalam film industry have claimed that their film has now become the most successful film in acquiring the most amount as it's television rights but finally the truth is now out. It is also interesting that both these films were directed by veteran director Joshiy.
Besides Mohanlal, this new film Christian Brothers also features Suresh Gopi, Sarath Kumar, Dileep, Kavya Madhavan, Sai Kumar, Jagathy Sreekumar, Kaniha, Lakshmi Rai, Lakshmi Gopalaswamy etc in it.
As per the current reports, this highly expected film will grace the theatres by October 15th in around 400 theatres all across the worls, which is going to be another record for a Malayalam film..
Mohanlal and Suresh Gopi now face to face
Get ready for the bang!!! Yes, it's heard that in the upcoming Malayalam film Christian Brothers there is an action sequence featuring Universal star Mohanlal and Action King Suresh Gopi. This multistarrer is being directed by veteran director Joshy.
Both these stars are good friends and have featured together in lots of films like Rajavinte Makan, Irupatham Noottandu, Manichitrathazhu etc. They will be seen together in the upcoming film Janakan also, which is scheduled to release by the next month. In this film, Mohanlal is only in a guest appearance.
As per the reports, the much hyped fight sequence featuring Mohanlal and Suresh Gopi was shot at Kochy last week. They have fighted against each other many times before and this time it is turning out to be a highlight for the film. Earlier, a similar action sequence was their in between Mammootty and Mohanlal for the film Twenty 20, which turned out as a major plus point for that film.
The first schedule of shoot for the movie got to the end by last week, and the next will resume after a month. Joshy is planning to shoot the rest of the portions in London and Bangalore. Let's wait and see, who is going to win the battle between both these stars???

Earlier, this role was offered to the action king of Tamil, Arjun but he simply rejected the offer due to some unknown reasons and now the makers of this film have roped in the much popular Sarath Kumar in it. According to some close sources, Sarath Kumar who does a special guest appearance is the pivot around which this action movie revolves.
Christian Brothers is a big budget film, directed by the veteran Joshiy, and the story of the film revolves around a big christian family. This film also features Suresh Gopi, Dileep, Manoj K Jayan, Kavya Madhavan, Padmapriya, Thilakan , Innocent and many others.
Shooting for this much awaited film has now started at ernakulam and this multistarrer is expected to reach the theatres as the Vishu offering from it's star casts..
